Tributes to David Adams (1)

David L. Adams of Unionville, ON, on November 8, age 88. He was born again on March 4, 1936, and along with his dear wife, Agnes, was commended to the work of the Lord in Cuba in 1946. In 1961 Fidel Castro forced them to leave Cuba. Shortly thereafter they built a log cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina from which he continued to preach the gospel and minister to the Lord’s people. In 1964, they returned to Canada, residing in Unionville, Ontario. For the next 44 years, he taught the Word of God in assemblies in Canada, USA, and many Latin American countries, including several trips back to Cuba. His rich bass voice will be missed in the Unionville assembly where he was in fellowship until declining health prevented his attendance. More than 300 people gathered at his memorial service to remember a man who immersed himself in the study of the Word of God.
