A Servant Who Knew His Master and Served Him Diligently

Our father, Richard Hanna, was elevated into the Lord’s presence on June 27th after a few months of illness. We are so thankful that we know where he is now, a place where there is no more sickness, sorrow, or tears.

For over 50 years Dad was used by God in His work in Chile. He and our mother spent the first few years in the Talca area and then later moved south to the city of Concepcin. In their rented house there, they started children’s and gospel meetings. Soon after they visited the coal mining city of Lota where the first assembly in the region was formed. The work spread over the years to surrounding cities where other assemblies were planted which still continue faithful to God’s Word.

Dad’s gentle, personal way with people has touched many lives on several continents and his faithfulness in the teachings of the Scripture has left an example for many of us to follow.
