A book salesman told me that he has difficulty stocking this book because those who buy their own copy return to buy multiples to give away. David Gooding’s work Bringing Us To Glory will fill your heart with wonder as he spurs you to contemplate the wonder of God’s eternal plans, which include bringing many sons to glory.

This work from Mr. Gooding, who went to be with the Lord in 2019, consists of excerpts extracted from his well and lesser-known writings compiled into thematic short daily readings. They are paired with a passage of Scripture and a highlighted verse. The devotional excels as a coffee table or nightstand fixture, as the one-page devotionals are rife with golden nuggets to contemplate for the remainder of the day. Gooding’s helpful illustrations and grandfatherly style illuminate profound truths of Scripture in bite-size reflections, whetting the appetite of a soul longing to know more of the Lord Jesus Christ. It caters both to the new believer and to those who are deeper into their journey of faith.
