A Tribute: T. Ernest Wilson

The homecall of our brother Wilson brings back to us many memories of the benefits received from his ministry. Many of us who are older sat at his feet and were taught by him. His presentation of the Person and work of Christ touched our hearts. His gentle spirit and personal devotion to the Lord Jesus impressed us deeply Men who are now with the Lord, such as Herbert Dobson, John Govan, Albert Joyce, Albert Klabunda, Lorne McBain, Oliver Smith, Archie Stewart, and others often expressed their deep appreciation of the ministry of our brother Wilson. Mr. Oswald MacLeod enjoyed visiting him at Longport when he was able.

To be “with Christ” in glory was the deepest longing of his heart. We too anticipate being “caught up together with them”.
