The late Jim Thompson of Sidney, ME, spent
40 years selling Bibles and Christian literature
at conferences up and down the east coast of the
United States. Selling is a misleading word, as he
often shunned the principles of the hard sell in
favor of the principle of giving. The Bible help
that most captivated his attention in recent years
was the devotional Bringing Us to Glory by David
Gooding. Jim went home to heaven late last year
and no doubt he has informed the late brother
Gooding concerning the distribution of his book.
Now a second edition, Changing Us For Glory,
edited by Helen Crookes, has become available.
Once again the vast knowledge of Scripture and
understanding of philology possessed by Professor
David Gooding jumps off the page in daily bite-
sized portions. A multitude of devotionals clamor
for your attention, but Changing Us For Glory will
daily point you to Christ.
The book is available for purchase at ritchiechristianmedia.co.uk and gospelfolio.com.
