Abbotsford: William Skates and Jack Zhang commenced tent meetings August 9.
Burnaby: The South Burnaby assembly was encouraged by the baptism of four young people on June 14. Three of them are from outreach work. The hall was nicely filled to hear David Hunt preach the gospel. They are also planning gospel meetings to commence September 8 with John Fitzpatrick and Eric Fowler.
Vancouver: The Victoria Drive assembly was encouraged by blessing in salvation during their recent gospel series in May/June. Two young brethren saved through outreach work were received into fellowship June 21 and 28, respectively, bringing joy to the saints. The assembly also conducted three weeks of evening children’s meetings/VBS outreach with local brethren at Brewers Park (July 6-11), Memorial South Park (July 20-26), and Ross Park (August 3-8).
New Brunswick
Green River: Gerard Roy and Levy Otinga (Toronto, ON) commenced gospel meetings August 2.
Newfoundland
Carbonear: The assembly enjoyed a much appreciated visit from Eric Fowler and David Swan, who were present for two Lord’s Days, June 7 and 15, with nightly open air meetings. Canada Post was used to distribute invitations locally and to the neighboring town of Harbour Grace. While attendance was small, the believers look to God to bless the gospel that was faithfully preached.
Irishtown: Jim Jarvis and Jack Zhang held one week of open-air meetings that began June 22.
Nova Scotia
Amherst: The assembly held a short gospel series June 28-July 3 with Joe Potter (Sussex, NB), helped by a local brother.
Bridgewater: David Hierlihy and Brody Thibodeau commenced tent meetings August 2.
Halifax: The assembly held their annual conference June 6-7. The Grace of Christian Service (2 Corinthians 8-13) was led by Stephen Baker, Marcus Cain, Matthew Cain and David Gilliland. The assembly trusts that all were encouraged and edified by the teaching and fellowship.
Ontario
Brampton: Gospel tent meetings that commenced on May 31 closed after four weeks with much encouragement. A good number of people came to hear the gospel. The Lord richly blessed the meetings with seven people professing salvation. Two of them have been coming to meetings regularly since their series two years ago, and one of them has been coming steadily since their series last year. Steve Faviere (Bancroft, ON) and Liam Hannah (Toronto, ON) faithfully preached a clear gospel message each night, and the saints were happy to see support by believers from other assemblies most nights. We have much to be thankful for!
Delmer: The Grace Gospel assembly purposed gospel meetings again July 19-August 2 with Jim Bergsma and David Yoder in the nearby village of Courtland. They have had good interest and attendance in previous years.
Sarnia: The assembly held tent meetings July 12-August 2 at Centennial Park with Brandon Doll and Gordon McCracken (Scotland).
Toronto: Local brethren Liam Hannah and Brendan McIntyre commenced gospel meetings July 7 at the Ralph Thornton Community Centre.
Quebec
Amos: Brandon Basque-Albert and Éric Lambert (both from Ottawa, ON) held gospel meetings July 5-18 at the Algonquin reserve adjacent to the city.
Clarendon: Murray Pratt and Doug Yade (Kirkland Lake, ON) held tent meetings June 10-24.

Arkansas
Alpena: The assembly held gospel meetings that began June 21 with Jerry Jennings and Melvin Mendez (Hatboro, PA).
Arizona
Phoenix: The Orangewood assembly continues their series of short Saturday night devotionals via Zoom on “The Person and Work of Our Lord Jesus Christ.” Brethren taking part to date include Mark Quitadamo (Methuen, MA, June 13), Peter Higgins (Pennsauken, NJ, June 20), Ken Nicholson (Oshawa, ON, June 27) and Gaius Goff (July 4).
Illinois
Joliet: The Spring Creek Gospel Hall assembly has decided to change the date of their conference from the last weekend in September to the first weekend in March. As such there will not be a conference at the Spring Creek Gospel Hall in September 2026. Lord willing, their conference will take place March 6-7, 2027.
Iowa
Garnavillo: Stephen Baker gave ministry June 22-26.
Michigan
Jackson: The assembly was encouraged with recent children’s meetings and gospel meetings held in the tent in the month of June. The gospel was faithfully proclaimed, many visitors attended, and the weather was suitable for most of the meetings. Prayers are appreciated for the souls that heard the good news.
Bridgeport: Tent meetings with Larry Perkins and Dan Shutt are purposed to start July 27 (date corrected).
Minnesota
Fridley: The assembly commenced gospel meetings on August 2 with Al Christopherson and Ben Wenger (Brodhead, WI).
New Jersey
Pennsauken: In June, the Spanish Gospel outreach with Jason Wahls and local brethren followed by the tent series with Bill Seale and Dale Vitale were both well attended with 15-20 unsaved out nightly. There was blessing and the assembly looks to the Lord to further bless His word.
Ohio
Akron: The assembly held a Vacation Bible School each night June 14-18 with the theme “Down Luke’s Street” – fun adventures from the book of Luke.
Pennsylvania
Indiana: The assembly undertook a unique Seed Sowers event this Spring. A beautiful photo of one of the county’s covered bridges was used by permission from the Christian photographer, and a brand new Seed Sowers text was produced. The verse John 14:6 was sent out through the USPS, through their Every Door Direct Mailing service. The back of the text consisted of the gospel, the assembly’s website and phone numbers, and a link to Heaven4sure.com. Over half of the texts were mailed out by mid-June. At the conclusion of this outreach, the assembly will have sent these Scripture texts to over 41,000 homes in the county, almost every home. The assembly also expected to have Bill Seale Jr. for both their VBS and picnic at the end of July. Please pray for these efforts.
Washington
Arlington: During the three weeks of gospel meetings May 25-June 12 in Stanwood (a town about 30 minutes away) with Jack Zhang and local brothers, a few visitors from the community attended. The meetings were also well attended by those in the Arlington and Marysville assemblies. The Lord blessed in salvation, and the saints were encouraged by the nightly faithful preaching of the gospel.
Wisconsin
Brodhead: Local brethren held children’s meetings June 22-26. Approximately 20 children attended each night, with over half not regular attenders. The saints were all encouraged.
Fennimore: Gospel tent meetings June 8-26 with local brethren from Blue River saw good attendance from regulars and first-time visitors alike. The good seed was faithfully sown, and the saints look to God for the increase.
La Crosse: Due to scheduling conflicts with the local school district, the assembly regrettably had to change their annual conference date and the location. Please see the Conference listing below for more details.
Viroqua: Brethren from the Ontario, WI, assembly purposed gospel meetings in this new location, July 27-31, at the AmericInn hotel.
Mexico
Sonora
Ciudad Obregón: During the last two weeks of May, the assembly held a series of gospel meetings with help from Duncan Beckett, Shad Kember and Shawn Robertson (Waterloo, IA). The believers were encouraged to see some unbelievers attend and listen attentively.
Nuevo León
Juárez: Jacob Nesbitt (San Antonio, TX) joined local brothers for a brief gospel series June 22-26 in the hall. There was good attendance, including family members of the believers.
Hidalgo
Matilde: The believers visited the nearby area of Chapula that was recently affected by flooding to help in practical ways and share the gospel. On June 21, the assembly held a special outreach meeting in recognition of Father’s Day.
Mexico State
Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl: The assembly held a gospel series June 22-July 3. During the first week, five neighbors from the area attended and several unsaved children of the believers. A good number of invitations were distributed in the area prior to the gospel effort.
Guerrero
Iguala: The assembly had two weeks of gospel meetings in June with local brethren helping Duncan Beckett for the first week. Noé Cruz (West Phoenix, AZ) spoke with local brethren for the second week. The attendance was encouraging during the series.
Morelos
Los Arcos: Duncan Beckett and Shad Kember held gospel meetings in June; God’s hand was seen with blessing in salvation.
Quintana Roo
Cancún: On June 21, the fathers of the Sunday School students were invited for a special meal that followed a message. A two-week gospel series commenced that same evening with David Cadenas and Timothy Turkington. Some new people attended during the first week, and the saints were encouraged with blessing in salvation.

Namibia
Steven Anderson writes: From the start of the year to date, we have been able to give out 20,000 calendars from International Bible House that are filled with gospel verses on every page along with a picture of Namibia as well as a page that explains the gospel. The towns of Swakopmund and Walvis Bay have received with joy and thankfulness these wonderful calendars. Along with distributing literature, we had gospel meetings, children’s meetings and an evening Bible study for many weeks with great reception from the public. Wonderful and exciting things are happening in this country, and we see in a real way the hand of God moving and working. More outreaches are planned for the future; please pray for these arrangements.
Venezuela
Neal Thomson (Abbotsford, BC) writes: We were able to visit from March to May and were invited to a number of pioneering works within Valencia and Mérida. Most assemblies have children’s meetings and other gospel outreaches around their area, resulting in new assemblies being planted – surely an example for us to follow. A new gospel youth meeting is currently prospering: they sing, teach a memory verse and preach the gospel. Young people seem attracted to groups of their peers, and this work has seen many come to hear the gospel for the first time. Please pray for the VBS work during the next few months of school vacation (some have four VBS’s during this time, each attended by hundreds of children).
Samuel Ussher writes on June 30 in the aftermath of the June 24 earthquake: The epicentre of the double earthquake was close to Morón and Puerto Cabello. There are 24 assemblies in the immediate area so more believers were impacted. One dear sister passed away and a few unsaved people. Quite a number of houses were completely destroyed. Many more were severely damaged and some will have to be demolished. The Lord’s people have been caring for the believers who were affected and their extended families. A conference held in Morón in the gospel hall had been rescheduled to the weekend before the earthquake. We can see the hand of the Lord in this, as over 2,000 believers gathered over that weekend.
The area which suffered most was around La Guaira. So far 1,719 bodies have been found, but there are almost 50,000 people unaccounted for. Almost a week has passed and people are still being found alive under the rubble. In that area 855 buildings were damaged; around 200 of those were completely demolished. There is a small assembly there and all the believers’ homes were damaged, including the gospel hall. One dear sister and two of her children passed away.
A number of believers from Caracas and other areas are helping to search for survivors and rescue them, including doctors and nurses. A tent was set up where people can come for food and medical care. Many homeless people are camping in open spaces and have been receptive to hearing the gospel after help is given. People approach the Christians to express their thanks for the words of comfort and hope from the Word of God through the gospel. There are many children so the believers have taken the opportunity of providing food and clothing, and giving a Bible class.
We are grateful that a large number of international search and rescue teams have come with vital equipment and have saved many lives, but the crucial first two days were lost. This country was not prepared and the authorities made little effort to get equipment and help to those in need. The people themselves, with their bare hands, have been moving rubble, searching for loved ones, and in this way have rescued some. Unsaved people from all over the country have also mobilized to send food and clothing for those in need. It is comforting to see that the liberality of heart of the Venezuelans has been evident once again amidst great poverty.
Please pray that God will be glorified in the salvation of many.

Homecalls
Lanny Brown of Lambton Shores, ON, on June 6, 2026, aged 91. Born on March 5, 1935, he was born again in March 1955 through John 3:16, his favourite verse. Larry and his wife Audrey were in fellowship in the Welland, ON, assembly for 47 years before relocating to Forest in 2002 to be closer to family. They enjoyed the fellowship of the Lakeshore assembly for the past 24 years. He continued faithfully in assembly fellowship until infirmities limited his regular attendance. Larry ensured the family was always at assembly meetings. He enjoyed making gospel texts with pictures of cars and tractors that were distributed at numerous fairs and gospel outreach events. Predeceased by Audrey (2024), a son, and a granddaughter, Larry is lovingly survived by five children, seven grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Family members and Bert Snippe honored Lanny at the funeral service and the gospel was faithfully proclaimed.
